WSET Levels 1-3 in WINES in the beautiful setting of Winding Wood Vineyard

WSET Wine Training for professionals and enthusiasts alike.

As a wine-trade professional for over ten years, Polly brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field. Working as a Certified Educator with the WSET, she has successfully guided hundreds of students through Levels 1-3 in Wines (with a 100% pass rate to date!) and now offers both WSET and bespoke wine courses in collaboration with WILD WINE SCHOOL.

Positive interaction, real experiences.

Polly’s focus is always on harnessing the enjoyment of wine through positive interaction, using a multi-sensory approach in line with the Wild Wine School teaching method. Benefitting from the incredible setting of Winding Wood Vineyard, students can literally see and feel wine in action! Depending on the time of year, we can engage in demonstrations of pruning, harvesting, canopy management and so much more. A fantastic asset in bringing the book content to life.

Go further with Wild Wine training.

With bespoke training materials created exclusively for the sector, these courses take a deep dive into the world of all things 'non-conventional' in winemaking; from organics to natural wines, and beyond. Gain the ability to understand, appreciate, and communicate in this growing sphere. Ideal professionals or enthusiasts.

WSET Training
'If anyone is reading this post and thinking ‘should I..?’ then the answer should be an emphatic YES!
Such great fun, so much to be learned whether you intend to break into a job in the wine industry or in my case just want to be able to buy better wine/buy wine better.
Level 3 this year if the stars align…
I should also mention Polly has a 100% pass rate!'

Sam Stephens, Level 2, February 2024

WSET Training

'Just an e-mail to say a huge thanks for your help on Level 3. It’s been tremendous fun, and I am so glad I’ve done it – a massive step up from L2, but so worth it. WSET are lucky to have such a great teacher in their ranks, and we were so lucky to have done all three levels with you!'

Jack Crawford, Level 3, March 2025

WSET Training

'Thank you so much for another excellent course! My head is still spinning (from all the information, not the wine, honest!). I really enjoyed learning so much and your style of delivery is awesome. Lunch was delicious too. I’m so tempted to keep going with Level 3! Please keep me in the loop.'

Sarah Blundell, Level 2, Jan 2025

WSET Training

'I just wanted to say a huge thanks for last Sunday. I really loved it and found it very inspiring. I’ve hardly stopped going on about tannins and acidity this week (much to everyone’s delight…!)

Looking forward to results day 🤞 and the possibility of Level 2 at some point in the future!'

Isabella Imi, Level 1, April 2025

Bespoke training day

'Even though the team had varying ability, Polly managed to get everyone on the same page, and everyone came away with useable knowledge. It's the difference in confidence that is most noticeable. So nice to see. Until we learn about wine in school, the hospitality industry needs trainers like Polly!'

Matt, GM at The Boathouse, Jan 2024

WSET Training

'Polly guided our group through the WSET Level 1 & Level 2 in Wines - we wouldn't go anywhere else! As I've said before, we really couldn't have got through it without the amazing support and brilliant teaching of Polly. I was sorry that it had to end - one of the most enjoyable learning experiences I've had. We have our sights set on Level 3!'
